ABOUT ME
I’m a writer, editor, and producer living in Asbury Park, New Jersey. I have a lot of projects but here are a few of my favorites:
Most recently, I co-wrote and acted in SOCIAL FITNESS, a short comedy that snagged an award at the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and is an official selection of five film festivals, including the Academy Awards-qualifying Indy Shorts.
As a journalist, my work can be found in The New York Times, VICE, Billboard, and various outlets. I'm the former Editorial Director of Observer and a contributing editor at Warscapes. I have led newsrooms, developed editorial strategies, hosted and moderated live events, and have produced podcasts and videos.
I'm a sketch comedy writer who performed with Venn Diagram Comedy and the co-founder of Shrill Films, a production company that showcased women and nonbinary comedians.
But my favorite creation is co-founding Black Lipstick, a DIY collective that produces live music and showcases women and LGBTQ+ artists. We host coven parties and community events to raise money for local charities.
In my spare time, I'm writing a pilot and a screenplay. I think that covers it.
